BAY OF PLENTY RUGBY AWARDS

2024

Te Puke Sports members were recipients of five of the major awards. Our congratulations go to the Premier players for taking out the Baywide Premiership title Team of the Year, Fletcher Carpenter Club Player of the Year, Kase Meyer for Bay of Plenty Under-19 Player of the Year. Captain Joe Johnston was the Stemers Player of the Year and Club Captain Kim Hinaki was recognised for his services to rugby.

2021

At the completion of each season Rugby Bay of Plenty requests nominations from clubs who consider that they have a member that has excelled in one of the below categories. In 2021 Te Puke Sports members were recipients of three of the major awards. Our congratulations go to Mattie Wallis for having achieved 200 Premier games, Aidan Ross the Steamers ‘Player of the Year’ and Rodney Gibbs ‘Coach of the year’. How good is it when our members achieve such prestigious awards?  Answer: Very, very good!
